SpringOut, Canberra's queer pride festival celebrates the diversity of local Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender and Intersex communities.

Canberra's eleventh SpringOut will build on a long tradition of community celebration in Australia's capital city. Enjoy a fun filled, empowering and fabulous time during the SpringOut festival. Choose to get involved with as many events as possible.

All of the events in the SpringOut Festival are undertaken by individual groups within our community, putting in lots of volunteer effort so we can have fun.

The Canberra Pride Group promotes and co-ordinates the Festival and lets you know what each group is up to during November and how to join in the fun.

2009 Pride Awards

The Canberra Pride Group is now accepting nominations for this year's Pride Awards as part of the 2009 SpringOut Festival.

The Pride Awards recognise those making a positive contribution to the GLBTI Community in any capacity, from entertainment to advocacy or support.

If you know someone who has done something great for our community in the past year and deserve an award for their efforts, let us know who they are.
