Big Gay Breakfast –  Come and celebrate a fabulous spring morning with your big gay family. A GLBTI event with fabulous food and company – everyone is welcome!

Frolic in the Park – Picnic for young queer women and gender diverse people under the age of 25 (older people welcome if invited by a young friend). Bring along blankets, food, drink and any games to play. Come and meet other young people. Look for the row of umbrellas!

Trans Day of Remembrance 2011 – Recognised internationally to acknowledge the violence and discrimination faced by people who identify or express their gender differently. Bent Fest: The Doctor’s Wife – In September 2008, Dr Vincent Cornelisse accepted a position in the (very) country town of Biggenden, QLD. He and his partner Jonathan made plans for their move. Canberra Bushdance – Canberra’s largest GLBTI event, held for over 30 years.  There is a bar, BBQ and a live band to lead you through those dances that you might remember from primary school like: Strip the Willow, The Waves of Bondi, crazy polkas and some more genteel promenades. By the end of the night you’ll have danced with everyone, caught up with old friends, made some new ones and helped raise cash for the GLBTI community.
