Pride Awards Now Open!
The Canberra Pride Group would like to hear from members of the community who feel that they know an individual or group that has contributed to the Canberra's Queer Community in a positive way in 2007.
The annual Canberra Pride Awards give much deserved recognition to those who work tirelessly, usually as volunteers, to support, defend or simply entertain Canberra’s GLBTI community.
To let us know who you think should receive a Pride Award, just email us at info@springout.com.au.
Pride Awards will be presented at 7pm on Friday 23 November at Canberra Museum and Gallery just before the final film for BentFest 2007.
We are also putting together a Canberra Pride Awards Hall of Fame and need your help! If you or someone you know has previously received a Pride Award please email us and let us know the recipient’s name, what the award was for and the year it was received.
Nominations close Sunday 11 November.
