SpringOur Fairday

SpringOut Fairday is Canberra's LGBT community day. The annual Fairday is a marvellous day out for the whole family, bring your kids, bring you pets. Sunhine, great stalls, beautiful people, relaxed atmosphere. What could be more pleasant for a Saturday afternoon in Spring? Fairday 2009 will include drag kings and queens, performances by local artists, the Canberra Gay and Lesbian Qwire, a children's treasure hunt, and - back for another year - the ever popular Pet Parade!

ACTOUT Croquet and High Tea @ The Hyatt

A Delightful Afternoon of croquet and high tea. Croquet is a genteel game and the idea is not to hit someone over the head with the big mallet but instead use it to hit a ball through a wicket shaped thing. To continue this charming afternoon for those interested decadent, there will be High Tea at te Hyatt Hotel next door afterwards. Booking are essential for the Hyatt.

Canberra Nude Yoga (Free Information Night)

The teacher Gregory will give a short introductory talk before the class followed by a Q&A Session with current students in attendance to offer their experiences. The class will consist of gentle physical and breathing exercises with time for relaxation. Ater class enjoy a cuppa and cake at the venue.

John Lee, a 19-year-old gay asian man, shoots and kills his white lover in a toilet block. winner of the London Fringe Award for Best Play, Porcelain is a taut and moving race drama of love, identity, and sex in public places. A Pink Tennis Event. Dust off your hats and polish up your boots. Bushdance is Back! Join in the fun of Canberra's biggest GLBTI event - over 600 dancers, a great band, BBQ and Bar in a real woolshed. It's hot, it's fun and you'll get to dance with everyone. What to Wear? It's a night of singlets, jeans, chaps, check shirts, rhinestones, akubras, hats, boots and twirling dresses. Anythings fine, but it does get hot in there.
